One of the most alive cross-ways of Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg is the triple cross Schoenhauser Allee - Eberswalder Straße - Pappelallee/Kastanienallee. It is the vibrant heart of this young old district in former East Berlin. And: The subway U2 coming from Alexanderplatz is surfacing right at this point. It springs out of the ground and continues its way on a trestle. A huge green centipede crawling up Schoenhauser Allee towards Pankow that is seperating the left from the right lane. Sometimes pedestrians use the space under the centipede's belly between its spider legs instead of the footpathes right and left...
